I joined by application in 2004 and was acceptedÖ Why? Because of 3 years of running R.G.U.A.C. and being an active part of S.U.S.F. may have something to do with it! I am now El PresidenteÖ (Hmm I see a trend occurring! At least thereís less paperwork, I think!!!)

This is me, getting back into shooting after the winter and havenít straightened out again!

Well what do you want to know???  I moved to Aberdeen to study 7 years ago but ended up putting more effort into my archery and social side than my education (I now say I graduated from the University of Life, or am I still studying? Who knows?)

I was Scottish Ladies Flight Champion in 2002 (last competition with RGU, go out with a bang I say!) And Northern Area Flight Champion for the fourth year running and now I have a new shiny trophy to prove it!

Hmm what else? Oh yeah! Hamish and I are now engaged, if ya didnít already know and the wedding will be on the 5th November 2008 (a Wednesday) with a party to follow on the Saturday afterÖ More details later!

What else can I say? I am now an Assistant Coach (sorry, Level One) and stick my oar in at RGUAC and try not to take over the running of the clubÖ To be fair, Iíve been really good these last few years because Iíve been shooting more than coaching again! Now Iím not a supervisor at work anymore, (yeah a step back, but the archery doesnít suffer as much now!) I can now do more competitions again! And as El Presidente of the Club I should be setting an example!

Havenít changed in 6 years have I?

I shoot a Marksman Ikon at 34lbs and I am one of the growing numbers of Lefties in the club (how many of us now?) Hopefully with me now on a better bow (rather wooden Uni. one) I will get over 500 in Portsmouth again... Yes, I know that after 7 years of shooting I should be there and beyond but Iím not (all that paperwork when I was running club single handedly!) Iím also trying to remember and slow down (itís not a rush) and definitely improve my stamina (i.e. by reversals but my equipment is in the boot of the car at the moment, poor excuse!)
